Mindset & memory - 3 phrases I used to think or say

How often do you say or hear people say ‘oh I have a such bad memory’?

I used to say it myself.

All. The. Time.

But what if I told you that your mindset was the main thing you needed to change to get a brighter brain?

Our words and thoughts are powerful.

So, here are 3 phrases I used to think or say and how I started adjusting them:

  1. ‘I have a bad memory’ to ‘My memory is improving’

  2. ‘I can’t remember’ to ‘It will come to me’

  3. ‘It’s hard for me to remember what I learn’ to ‘I can remember what I learn’

Easy right?!

So, here’s a get started challenge:

Spend a day paying extra attention to your thoughts and what you say to others about your brain or memory:

  • Are your thoughts/words empowering and helpful?

    Or disempowering and unhelpful?

  • If needed, adjust your thoughts/words to make them empowering!

  • How does this feel when you try it? What impact does it have?

OUR MINDSET IS POWERFUL SO LET’S USE THIS TO OUR ADVANTAGE.
