5 tips to keep calm and remember

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you earlier in life?

For me it was that my constant worry about my memory was affecting my memory!

So, here are my 5 TIPS to alleviate memory worry and anxiety:

1. Start to take notice of your thoughts

How often are you telling yourself or saying your memory is bad?

2. Reframe your thoughts

For example, replace ‘My memory is bad’ with ‘I am working on improving my memory’.

3. Connect with your breath

Take nice slow breaths to keep calm and think clearly.

4. Introduce or continue healthy routines

For example - a good sleep, nutritious food, meditation - you know, all the good things! Find what works for you.

5. Acknowledge all the things you DO remember

You might be surprised as to how often you forget to take notice of these!
